Happy Monday?

Ok, so it's not Monday - its FRIDAY!! But, today is Steve's 1st day back to work for the new year!  It has been great to have him home for almost 2 weeks straight!!!!  At least we have a very short work week this week with the inevitable regular week next week.  Nathan's ready to go back to school, and I think I'm ready to get back into the swing of things again after the holidays.  

I'm trying to figure out how long I can keep my Christmas decorations up for - is it OK to leave them up all year?  Just kidding.... I'm ready to pull them down now, but I don't have the desire to drag the boxes out and put everything away.  Oh well, it has to be done.

I think I'm just a little more tired than usual since Karlie has an ear infection that has kept her from sleeping through the night for the last few nights.  I took her to the doctor yesterday because she still had a fever.  I'm willing to wait out a cold, but when a fever sticks around for more than a day, I do get a little concerned and feel the need for an expert opinion.  Our new pediatrician is great and was able to squeeze us in right away.  So, more motrin & an antibiotic later, let's hope she starts feeling better today!

Ok, that's about all that's going on in my little world.  The house is still quiet right now, so I thought I would blog quickly. Uh oh... there's David now.... gotta go!
