Nathan's Last Day of Preschool

Yep, Nathan has graduated from preschool!! How did he get to be so big so quick?? I got to go to his last day of school. They had a little program that I video taped and took some pictures of. Wahoo! We made it... or should I say phew!!

This is his teacher Mrs. Smith. She is a wonderful teacher and helped Nathan a lot this school year. She is a very patient teacher and keeps an even quiet tone that just commands the respect of the kids. What a concept.... getting the kids to mind and behave without yelling? Not sure how that works :)

This is Mrs. Vruggink ( "Roogick" is how Nathan pronounces her last name). She is Mrs. Smith's assistant and they make a great team. Nathan always made sure to give her a flower, too, when he picked one for Mrs. Smith.

Here's our boy actually standing in line and following the teacher in the program. Following another adult was a foreign concept to Nathan at the beginning of the year.... he has matured and changed so much this last year. Thank-you, Lord for such wonderful teachers!!

Here's the whole class (15 girls & 5 boys!). Nathan made several friends. He took a liking to one little girl, Emily, and it was so sweet to have him introduce me to her. I'm just not ready for him to be liking girls. He takes after his Daddy... who claims to have had a girl friend in Kindergarten!! It's cute and innocent at this age - just not ready yet, though!

Ok, that's all I have to blog for now. Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Love to all!!
Nikki

What adorable photos, Nikki!!! I remember when Jaime was in preschool. She seemed so little then. Now, she's a MASTER!! :-) And, just finished her 8th year of teaching. And, yesterday I was taking her to preschool. Gee, time really does fly!

By the way, Happy Birthday yesterday!! Love YOU!! Aunt Alice
