With Sympathy

Hi Everyone,

It's with a very sad heart that I am writing this blog.

Ryan Sweeney past away this morning at about 6:00am after a very courageous fight with cystic fibrosis. Apparently, last night his body just started shutting down. He's at home now with our Lord Jesus Christ and for that I'm truly thankful.

I'm saddened to admit that I never got a chance to be officially introduced to Ryan. We joined their "pointe group", or home group if you will, right when Ryan was first admitted to the ICU back in March. I was supposed to go with my friend Jessica down to UofM this Wednesday to visit Kristin and Ryan, but that's when Ryan really started struggling and the trip was cancelled. I do feel like I have gotten to know them, not only through Kristin's blog but through their testimony. They truly loved the Lord and clung to God's promises through this very difficult time.

Ryan is survived by his wife, Kristin, twins Lily and Wyatt (2 yr.), his mom & dad, and a lot of family and friends.

Thank-you for praying with me. It's proof to see that our ways are not God's way. He has bigger plans in mind which included Ryan being at home, in heaven, with his Savior. Please keep praying for Kristin and the kids... may God comfort and strengthen them through all of this......
