Yep, we're at Thursday again and heading quickly into another weekend. This summer seems to be flying by right now. In just over a month my little Nathan is going to be a kindergartener. I'm actually not sad about it - I'm actually excited for him. He's so excited to be going to a new school which he calls "Megan's school" after our neighbor girl outback. We've known Megan and her family for quite a few years now. We met them at our old church in Ortonville and they moved over to west Michigan about 10 months after we did. It's so nice to know they are right in our back yard. So, that's why it's "Megan's school" to Nathan.
I've been fiddling again with my blog template. I just love to learn all the little tricks to tweak-out my blog. I have found so many cool blogs that send me to other blogs that I copy ideas from. Everyone uses their blog differently, but we all have on thing in common, to connect with others. I'm amazed at how much easier it is to blog than to just pick up the phone and talk (probably because there is a delete button when I type, and I can't just delete the words that come out of my mouth).
Hope you're having a great day!
Love,
Nikki

Oh you are so funny about the delete button. That's the way I am feeling these days. I do not know yet about August--I am supposed to meet my sister for a couple of days partway so the cousins can see each other, and I have been diagnosed with diabetes due to steroids and weight loss (103.8 lb), very weak and tired, Sleep til about 4:40, then start cramping in hands, back and feet and have to get up. Try to sleep sitting in a chair, but my mind keeps going. In a fight with the hospital right now because they want to monitor an increasing CMV every week by me going down to Detroit, which is ridiculous with a 19 month old and 2 hour car ride plus an hour in the lab. Alanna is my PA, and a control freak. So, I just called yesterday and said Bill and I found a place that will do it 10 minutes from my house and you can have the results in four hours if you write urgent. They still have to talk to Alanna, and I am anxiously awaiting that phone call.
So, I will let you know. I also might need oxygen part time, bill says it will be like sleeping with Darth Vader, but they have really quiet machines.
Love you,
Happy for Nathan,
Diane
I'm with Diane! I love the delete button.
I have to say that I am glad you still pick up the phone to call me...blogging would not be enough. I am hoping that wherever we end up we can still talk - I will definitely need to get that camera working do we can skype. Right now I am excited for Sarah to start school also - i may change my mind the morning she goes. :( I like the tulip. Good job on matching the color. I like how it isn't perfectly colored in - more like a water color. You rock, my blogging friend.
LYMYTTYS!
I also agree about the delete button; not to mention "save as draft" so I don't lose my thoughts during kid interuptions.
