We just got back from a "mini" vacation to a water park. I found a great deal on a room with water park passes in Shipshewana, Indiana. So, we loaded up on Monday and headed out to a "surprise" location (that's what we told the kids). I was a little nervous because David has not been a fan of water. Nathan should have gills he loves to swim so much, though. Well, we got there and the kids loved it... they ALL loved it!! There was a kiddy pool that was about 8" deep and warm - that's where David and Karlie played most of the time. There was a slide they could play on, and they did - I should have been counting since it seemed like they went at least 1000 times! Nathan was tall enough for the big slides, so he had a great time there as well. For a kid who just HATES to try new foods, he's got no fear when it comes to rides which is cool. We've had a great CHRISTmas vacation so far. Busy with trips back home for family dinners and then to the water park. We are planning a small New Year's Eve party here tonight with some friends and then Steve's parents will be back out this weekend. Lots to do and more pictures to post another day.
