the bug club

OK, so I really can't seem to get a good system going where I blog on a more regular basis. It's challenging, but I want to try. I'm hoping some day to actually have a link from this blog to my photography website.... when I'm ready to take the plunge that is... and I need to be able to update both regularly (at least that's my goal!). It's good to have goals, I guess time will tell if I can actually achieve these goals.

Anyways, I started this post at the beginning of July and never got a chance to finish it... weather has not changed much in a month so I will just add the pictures and call it good :)

So, it's been crazy cold here. We're only at the 3rd day of July and we've recorded the coldest first days of July ever in West MI (at least since 1918 according to the local weather guy!). It's really funny to think we were sweltering hot last week and this week we brought out the sweatshirts again. Hopefully we'll land somewhere in between for the rest of the summer :)

The kids have not skipped a beat. They really don't mind this colder weather. The boys have been playing baseball out back everyday and ended up creating their first club... the bug club... aren't they cute??
