millie's prom!

What a great day we had last Friday.  We picked Nathan up from school and headed east to my in-laws place.  We made it there just in time for me to start curling Millie's hair for prom.  I can't stop saying this... she was only 6 months old at our wedding and now she's 16 and going to prom!  WOW - time flies by!!  She looked gorgeous and was so excited to go.  Her and her boyfriend Tim hooked up with 2 other couples and rode in a limo to their prom location.  It wasn't at the high school like back in my day... no, it was at a  reception hall by St. Clair Shores somewhere and they actually got to eat dinner there before the dance (back in my day we went to a restaurant and then went to the dance... just a little jealous! :)  Any who, it was fun to help Millie get ready and even better to capture her with my camera.  It started raining just as the limo was pulling out so that was the end of my photo shoot.  I really wanted to follow them the whole night but thought that might be a little much!  Here's some of my favorite shots from the night... enjoy!! :)  I'm thinking about adding this to my list of photo shoot options for my business... it was a ton of fun!

This picture is technically a blown shot... but there's something about it that keeps intriguing me... technically a mess but pretty cool!!  Well, I think so at least :)
