It's sad... summer is almost over and really feels like it just started yesterday! We went to David's kindergarten orientation last night and Nathan's 2nd grade orientation tonight. The sun is setting on summer... back to school next week and its feeling very bitter sweet. I think the boys are ready to go back to school... I think Karlie is going to be bored without her bros all day!
We finally got out to the lake for a sunset while we were up visiting my parents in Traverse City. We got to the beach just as the sun was "touching" the water on the horizon. It was an absolutely gorgeous summer night! I snapped some pics of the kids on the horizon in the sunset... enjoy!

You HAVE to get that 2nd one blown up and framed -- that is amazing! :)
You need a tripod so you can use your timer and get in on pics like those!!
Trying not to be too jealous - I can't tell you how long it has been since I saw a sunset like that...most likely - YEARS! :(
