Tuesday

"Goooood Morning, Vietnam!" I just thought I would start with a snappy catch phrase - that's all....

It's Tuesday, and starting out pretty well. David was an early riser this morning.... 7:30am (I'm not interested in getting up before 8:00am now). But... what are you going to do. Karlie got up at 8 and big brother Nathan, well he's still snoozing and it's 9:15am. I think he's figured out the luxury of sleeping in... he's been asking to sleep in and not be woke up in the mornings... I guess that means he's going to have to go to bed at 8:00pm when kindergarten starts so he can get his full 12 hours of sleep in.

Nothing real earth shattering is going on around here. Steve's still trying to get over his pneumonia that he got from the flu 2 weeks ago. He's gone back to work this week but he's still not 100% yet. I got to go scrapbooking Friday night and had a great time. There is a great scrapbook store about 5 miles from here that has EVERY tool/paper/sticker/etc. that you may want (ok, not everything but pretty close). The ladies that I sat by had some great tools that will definitely end up on my birthday list.

We did have a showing last Wednesday at our Oxford house. We haven't heard any feedback yet, which we're still hoping is good sign. Thanks for all your prayers... please keep 'em up... we need to sell that house!

The kids and I got to go to MOPs yesterday. They had a guest speaker from a local nursery come and give us landscaping tips. It was very cool... I can use all the help I can get for landscaping. The previous owners of this house basically just planted a bunch of hostas' in the front flower beds and I need to get some more plants out there. The problem is I don't have a green thumb at all... and I still hate weeding (that issue stems back to when I had to weed the garden when I was a kid in the heat of the beautiful summer day!). All this to say - I am actually looking forward to being able to spending time doing landscaping this year. I think the kids are going to be able to play outside without me chasing them this year (although I think Karlie will be into eating the sand in the sandbox!). OH how I can't wait for warm weather (I know, I know you Arizonians... it's already nice there... you don't have to remind me!! :-) LOL)

Hope you have a great day!!

Love,
Nikki

You are right - nice here indeed! It is 65 currently (I just got up to look). I wish I felt better because we (me & the girls) have been having great fun outside. Hopefully, the sick bug doesn't stick around here long. Praying your house sells and spring comes quickly!

ps. I am a little jealous that you are scrapping...can't wait to leave Carter with daddy and go myself!
