A Prayer for the Ephesians

"For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom His whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with the power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.  And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever, Amen!"



Good Morning!

I was just reading the Our Daily Bread devotion for the day and it's too good not to take the time to post it on my blog.  This is one of my favorite scriptures (and prayers) because it tells us just how much God loves us.... how deep, how wide, how immeasurable.... 

HOW HUGE - We can't even measure or understand the fullness without the help of the Holy Spirit!!  

God is able to do more for us and through us than we can even comprehend, but we need to let Christ dwell in our hearts through faith.  

This is my prayer for you today.
This is my prayer for all of us.
So we may be "filled to the measure of all the fullness of God".  
This is the true joy of life.
This is the great mystery.
This is contrary to pop culture.
This is what God tells us.
It's through faith.............
