Karlie's Acrobatics

Well, it's official... Karlie can get out of her crib :( "Meesef" is what she exclaims as she's doing it - she can do it her self! She's not even 2 yet, but I guess that shouldn't surprise me... Nathan was about the same age when he 1st escaped (remember Aunt Pam?). Poor David didn't get to stay in the crib a full 2 years. We had to boot him out at 22 months old so his sister could have it. Well, I guess it's time to start thinking about another twin bed in the house, or at least changing her crib into a daybed. The kids are growing up so quickly!! What a blessing they are to us!

WOW! They do grow quickly don't they. So hard to believe - it still is hard for my head (& heart) to accept that so much time has gone by with us apart. The harder part maybe is that there is much more to pass between us before we can be together again.
Missing you much today!

Hi Nikki,
I so enjoy reading your blog occasionally. Your mom gave me internet address. The pictures of your children are great. Your little girl looks a lot like I remember you. I have pictures of you sitting on my lap at your house in Oxford. You had a fever and didn't feel well. Your grandma and grandpa were visiting also. Those pictures bring back great memories. We all had so much fun around the campfire up at Little Finger Beach.
I don't know if you remember our grandson Derek who fished all the time with Joe. We are now living in their lower level and are very comfortable here. He and his wife Tina are VERY active ministering to the teenagers at our church, Alaska Baptist. He has really made a commitment of his life to the Lord. PTL

I also have an album of when I went to Hawaii with your grandma, Sally. Great memories.
I guess I could go on and on but won't.
Glad your mom and dad could get down for Halloween. She has promised SOMEDAY to come over to Caledonia to see us when she visits you.
Love and take care,
Mary Carlson
PS: Joe and I are 82 already!!!

SHE WAS JUST A "BABY" WHEN I MET YOU! Now look at her! Just when you thought your "busy" was busy enough...now the real fun begins!
Love the photos!
