I would have never thought Bentonville, AR would have an outdoor skating rink in the winter. Kinda thought it stayed a little too warm down here for them to want to go to the expense of maintaining a little rink. But, it does get cold here! In the past 2 weeks we've seen 60 and we've seen 30, no snow, but definitely below the freezing mark every night. So, last Sunday we ventured downtown to check out the rink. The kids were excited to go... well all except David who thought it was "too dangerous" (he can be so dramatic sometimes). We found out that Nathan will not be able to wear his skates much longer, but he still remembers how to skate! Steve loved being back in his element too! I didnt' even try... why you ask? because our crazy David left the house with crocs on his feet and no socks. So, we were bystanders (which was OK with me so I could snap some pics). I put my gloves on David's feet and he declared "look mom, I'm a gorilla!"

Great pictures Nikki! I love the first shot and the action you used. I also love the last shot with Steve and your oldest. So cute. Looks like Steve was happy being in his element. He was only missing a hockey stick.
The name of your company is "PERFECT"! You've captured the people, the mood and a memory. Wonderful! I enjoy perusing your pics!
Thanks for the encouragement Cheryl! :)
I love the Michigan sweatshirt. Looks like you are fitting in and adjusting to life. The backyard has been empty and your house quiet but I am so glad you are doing well.
