Red Sox WIN, Again

YEAH!!! The Red Sox won the World Series... AGAIN!! Yes, I'm a Boston fan - I've been one for a while. And, the way I see it, if the Tigers couldn't win it then I'm glad the Red Sox did. I feel bad, though, my neighbors are Rockies fans and they drove all the way out to Denver (18 hours) on Friday to actually go to Saturday night's game. She was so excited to go and I feel bad now that they had to drive another 18 hours home and listen to their team lose - ok, not that bad! My neighbors have a giant Rockies logo mowed in their back yard. I think Steve should mow a big Boston B in our backyard now... just for fun!! Well, now we can go to bed at a more reasonable hour with baseball over for another year.

We did have a nice relaxing weekend here. We didn't go anywhere or do anything but hang out at the house. We usually go for a car ride some where but it was good not to have any plans. It was warm enough yesterday for Nathan to play out back with all the neighbor kids. It's really nice how all the backyards connect at our new house. It's sort of a little valley for the kids to play in and they just run from yard to yard, swing set to swing set.

Karlie's the first one up here this morning. It's almost 9:00am here and the boys are still sleeping!! (I wish I could go back to sleep too after another late night of baseball!). We don't have any plans for today other than the typical straightening/cleaning up of the house after a weekend of clutter. Well, gotta go for now - have a great day!
